Do you know someone who always makes the best DIY Christmas presents? Wish you could show up with something special and homemade of your own this year? Impress your friends and family with all-natural homemade soap!

On Wednesday, December 19 at 7 PM everyone ages 16 and up is invited to the Delaware Main Library to learn how to create their very own cold process soap with Mandy Henning of Sudsy McGhee Soaps. Mandy is providing all the supplies and she'll take you step by step through the soap-making process. The soap takes about 24 hours to set, so after setting the soap on Wednesday evening you can stop in any time after 2 p.m. on Friday to pick up your creation. If you want to watch Mandy take the soap out of the mold and cut the bars, stop by right at 2 and see the process all the way from start to finish.

Pre-registration is required for this program. Call 740-362-3861 or stop in to the Delaware Main Library to let us know you're coming.

Can't make it this time? No worries. Add Wednesday, February 6 to your calendar to catch Mandy making soaps again at the Powell Branch Library! See you soon.
