If you're looking for something to do to get your mind off the cold temperatures and snow, check out some of the teen events and crafts happening at the library over the next few weeks. There's something for everyone at every location.

The Powell Branch Library TOMORROW (Friday, January 24) will have a DIY-Minecraft-duct-tape-wallet-making session. Ostrander teens will also make these wallets in February on Wednesday, February 19 at 4 p.m.

You'll want to get to the Orange Branch Library on Monday, January 27 at 6:30 to make your very own winter handwarmers. It's not just for girls! Yeah, there's some sewing involved, but that doesn't mean you can't rock a hard core, awesome handwarmer. Being warm trumps everything this winter. See the pic for the basic "how to."

If you're already signed up to be a DCDL Volunteen, you'll want to join the Teen Advisory Board. The monthly club for volunteens will work on group volunteer projects, and have fun while giving back to the library and local community. Call Mandy at 740-362-3861 if you have questions. It meets at the Delaware Library on Wednesday, January 29 afterschool at 4 p.m.
