The Friends of the Library are excited to welcome children’s author and illustrator Denise Fleming to the Delaware Main Library on Wednesday, November 14 at 7 PM.

Fleming creates most of her works of art by pouring colored paper through hand-cut stencils, a process called pulp painting. In the Tall, Tall Grass was her first book to use the pulp painting technique. The companion book, In the Small, Small Pond, was awarded a Caldecott Honor in 1994.
