If you love to cook and want a fun, casual environment to try and share new recipes, then the Cook Book Club is just for you! We take home a new cook book every month and try out some recipes. Then we make/bake/create and bring our favorite to the club to share with the group and discuss techniques and have a great time. Come hungry!
This month we'll cook from Gooseberry Patch: Quick and Easy Family Favorites.
Come to the Ostrander Branch Library to learn a little bit about college Financial Aid and how eligibility is determined. Learn how to find scholarships and what qualities constitute a good scholarship candidate. You should also walk away with additional resources that may be considered to help pay for college.
Whether you consider yourself a novice or an expert, this writers' group is for you! We will discuss short stories at this meeting. Please bring one to share and hear feedback from the group.
Come enjoy pictures of Ostrander's past on the big screen. Also bring your own to share and scan for the Library's collection.
Parents, caretakers and educators of infants and preschoolers are invited to come and learn the foundations of getting your child ready to read! This workshop is part of a national initiative to help parents begin to teach easy, everyday early literacy skills to children so they are prepared for reading before entering the classroom.
