Euchre Tournament

Euchre is a popular and commonly played card game. If you miss having the opportunity to play euchre, please join us for a euchre tournament. All skill levels are welcome. Takes place on June 18, July 16 and August 20 at 6:30 at the Orange Branch Library.

Toddler & Preschool Dance Party

Come dance and sing with us at the Library! Join us on Monday mornings at 10 AM for a fun, interactive music program designed for kids ages 2 - 6 and their caregiver.

These activities or practices are talking, singing, reading, writing and playing. All of our story times are planned using these skills that educate your children in fun, interactive and effective ways!

Orange Preschool Time

At Preschool Storytime, we use interactive songs, finger plays, flannel stories, books and sometimes crafts to learn and have fun! Preschool storytime is different from toddler time because at this age children’s attention spans are getting longer so we incorporate material that is appropriate for their interested mind!

Toddler Time for two's and three’s is full of fun songs, finger plays, flannel stories, books and sometimes crafts! It is designed to last 30 minutes.

Believe it or not, getting your child ready to read begins at birth! Baby Time at DCDL involves rhymes, movement activities, songs, books and playtime. It is structured to be 20 minutes of interactive rhymes, songs and stories, and then the remaining 40 minutes are open play.

The Annie Jam Band

Family Program

Annie Hawe performs as a solo artist singing & playing guitar for kids and families at this fun program. Performances are very interactive with an emphasis on a large assortment of percussion instruments for the children to play, finger puppets, singing & dancing. Annie includes original songs, traditional favorites and other children's music to insure a rich variety. Fun, musical experiences for everyone involved is her goal!
