Love to cook and try new recipes? Check out any of the Cook This, Not That series by David Zinczenko and Matt Goulding. Try out as many recipes from the books as you'd like, then prepare your favorite dish and bring it to the library for sharing. Come hungry!

Family Program

It's finally spring! So come out to the Ostrander Branch Library and get moving with some of your favorite spring sports! We'll have story time, games and crafts relating to baseball and soccer!

All Reading Levels

Homeschool students of all reading levels are invited to bring a book to share at our monthly book club. April’s theme is real life heroes. Heroes and heroines aren’t just for stories and fairy tales. There are lots of real life heroes helping others, saving lives, and making a difference in other people’s lives. Share your favorite book about a real life hero!

Grades 1 - 5 & Caregivers

Read Newbery Honor book Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo together, then and join us to discuss it at the Ostrander Branch Library! Ten-year-old India Opal Buloni describes her first summer in the town of Naomi, Florida, and all the good things that happen to her because of her big ugly dog Winn-Dixie.
