Gator Dave will bring a variety of animals he has rescued, possibly including snakes, alligators, tarantulas, owls, cockroaches, hedgehogs and more.  He has over 15 years of experience working with zoos and educating children.

Get ready for a magical treasure hunt during this fast-paced comedy magic show, Diggin' for Magic, featuring Sedgewick, a real live hedgehog (and a pirate hedgehog at that)! Laugh and learn about hedgehogs as you try to find Sedgie the Hedgie. Erica Carlson's performance combines hilarious magic tricks, helpers from the audience, group participation and fun surprise!

Family Program

Columbus Zoo & Aquarium staff members will bring some of their favorite creatures (animals, reptiles or birds) to the Library for children to touch, feel and learn about! Prepare to see animals like an African armadillo, a flamingo, a dingo, a baby wallaby, a baby snow leopard, a civet cat, an alligator, a legless lizard, a sloth, an owl or many others!

Ages 9 & up

Get creative and tell a story through pictures of the Roaming Gnome placed throughout the Library.
