DCDL Welcomes...

The Delaware County District Library is proud to welcome many local authors, illustrators and performers to our four library locations. On Friday, October 19 at 4 PM we will host author Toni Leland as she discusses "Animals in Fiction," a discussion of the various ways fiction writers incorporate animals into their stories. Read a synopsis of her newest book Double Exposure and come hear her talk about how Delaware County inspired the story!

Angela Easterling at the Delaware County District Library

Then on Friday, November 16 we invite you to join us at the Delaware Main Library for a special DCDL After Hours Concert featuring folk singer, songwriter Angela Easterling. The Library will close at our usual business hours at 6 PM and then re-open one hour later for this one-of-a-kind acoustic performance by a true Americana artist. It will be a laid back Friday evening of songs, stories and a journey through the history of roots music.
