WHAT THE FRIENDS DO
The Friends of the Library (FOL) serves as a support group for the DCDL system. They keep busy hosting book sales at library locations and hosting events with authors and illustrators of children's and adult books. The FOL also helps fund special activities like exhibits, holiday parties, book discussions, Summer Reading Program, and the Birthday Club.
BENEFITS OF BECOMING FRIENDS
Some of the many benefits to becoming a Friend include: invitations to members-only events (pre-sales and author receptions), discounts at area businesses, and a newsletter on programs and events. Best of all, you’ll be supporting the Library’s programs and services and making new Friends!
